I’ve taken multiple trainings in Internal Family Systems because I appreciate its holistic approach. While it may take longer to see results, I truly believe that it’s worth the investment for most clients.

Attachment-focused approaches can also serve as an alternative to talk therapy. If you’re hoping to improve your relationships, it’s a great place to start.

Pros:

  • Addresses Root Causes: Attachment-focused therapy works on the fundamental relationship patterns established in early childhood, which can profoundly impact trauma and eating disorders.

  • Improves Relationships: By understanding and healing attachment wounds, individuals often see improvements in their relationships and emotional regulation.

  • Holistic Healing: This approach integrates emotional, cognitive, and relational healing, providing a comprehensive method for recovery.

Cons:
